WW2_Weasel's WWII Mod (By WW2_Weasel)

I had decided to take on the task of creating Mods for EDEE when mok made EDEE open source. It had been close to 30 years since I was first introduced to the Game Empire.

I had long dreamt of having specialized units in this variation of War Game design. Unfortunately no one seemed to take a stab at it - except a game called Battle of Destiny.

This was a fun game - but unfortunately there were limitations to that game. Worse the AI would attack you as if it were an ant leaving a pheromone trail for other ants to follow.
Well, this is the case with most solo AI Games.  Can be very boring at times.

To focus back on EDEE; here now was the golden opportunity I had been long waiting for. A chance to go in and create my own specialized mod for EDEE.  I had selected WW2 because it's a time period I liked to read about.

I also decided to different flavors of the same Mod.  Desert, Winter, Temperate Regions for Terrain purposes. I decided upon the different Mods to help cut down on an overwhelming amount of units to choose from in the production menu. For someone new to the Mod, it could be quite intimidating to surf down a very long list of units to select from.

I have stopped counting at over 200 unique unit types for the Mod. Each of the units has it's strength and weaknesses.  Carefully balanced as well as I could validate them.
